Nancy Ann Chandler, 54, of Laurel, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at her home in Laurel. She was born November 11, 1962 in Seaford, a daughter of Edward and Marian (Wilkerson) Ryan of Laurel. Nancy graduated from Laurel High School with the class of 1980. She worked the past 16 years as an Assistant Line Manager at the Hardee's in Delmar. There she loved her work had many friends who will remember her great smile and warm heart. She enjoyed trips to Ocean City to walk on the beach and could never leave without getting Thrasher's fries. She appreciated nature and loved walks with her companion, Patrick, to admire their flowers and trees. She also loved football and would root for the Redskins, Ravens or whoever her family and friends rooted for. Animals held a special place in her heart and she adored her dog, "Slugger" and cat "Spooks." She is survived by a son, Rob Chandler, and girlfriend, Robyn of Laurel; her long time companion, Patrick Layton of Delmar; brothers, John Ryan and wife, Jennifer or Georgetown, Mark Ryan and wife, Chrissy of Millsboro and Michael Ryan and wife, Darlene of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews.
