Michele Margaret Bower passed away March 11, 2022, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Michele (Navy brat) was born February 6, 1964, at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Beaufort, SC to June and John G Midgette, III. She was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her mother, June Midgette; her daughter, Jessica Zidanic and son in law, Michael; two grandsons Seth and Connor J.; sisters Annette Bradford, husband Milton and Kim Bozman, husband Carson; and numerous nephews, aunts and cousins. Michele worked for Pizza Boys in Delmar for ten years and would greet everyone with her hardy laugh and radiant smile. She loved to cook. Even at family gatherings she was known for her amazing food and always turning it into a huge feast. She was preceded in death by her father, John G Midgette, III and her brother, John G Midgette, IV. She leaves behind her dog Buster who she loved so much, along with her cats. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00. The Reverend Daniel Bradford will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.
