Michael Henry Mears, II, age 21, of Delmar, departed this life and arrived in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 18, 2010. He was born on May 13, 1989 in Salisbury, the son of Michael and Patti Mears, and the brother of Ashley Mears, all of Delmar. Mike worked for M.E.D. Mechanical in Parsonsburg. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by a daughter, Kirra Starr Mears; a nephew, Tristan Lee Alexander; grandmother, Margaret Forbes; grandfather, Colin Mears; aunts and uncles, Denise Chamberlain, Wanda Phillips, Ann Marie Brewington, Raymond Klekotka, Michael Elliott and William Forbes; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pat Mears. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Living Bread Worship Center, 8662 Ocean Highway, Delmar, Maryland.
