Mary "Lola" O'Grady Bradford, 65, died Friday, July 15, 2011, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Newland O'Grady and Anna Mae Dryden O'Grady. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David P. Bradford of Salisbury; two daughters, Ellen Mae Bradford and her husband Gene Collins of Salisbury, and Valarie Lynn Dryden and her husband Woody Dryden of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Phillip Edward Bradford and his wife Candace of Selbyville, Amber Lynn Bradford of Salisbury, and Genetta Whelamina Bradford of Salisbury; three great grandchildren, Adriana Angel Bradford, Jordan Rashad Bradford, and Cameron Marie Bradford-Colon; five sisters, Bonnie Powell (John) of Eden, Delora O'Grady of Parsonsburg, Rosie O'Grady of Parsonsburg, Tressia Hickman (James) of Milton, and Donna Bozman of Salisbury; a brother, Patrick O'Grady (Kim) of Parsonsburg;her mother-in-law, Gertrude Bradford of Salisbury; an aunt Betty Warren of Parsonsburg; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Olen and Betty White of Laurel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Newland O'Grady, Jr. and a brother-in-law, John Bozman. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Ruth Chamberlain will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Pittsville Cemetery.
