Mary Inglis Beddoe Jett (Polly), 71 died April 25, 2009, at her home in Vero Beach, FL. Polly was born in Toronto, Canada, on December 30, 1937, and lived in Vero Beach and Hebron, MD. Recently she was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Salisbury, MD, and All Saints Episcopal Church in Delmar, DE. Survivors include her husband, George W. Jett, daughters; Mary Noland Jett Evans of Vienna, VA, and Elizabeth Parrish Jett Roche of Frederick, MD, and sons; George William Jett, Jr. of Springfield, VA, and John Beach Jett of Lemon Grove, CA; a brother, George Beddoe of Fredericksburg, VA, and a sister; Elizabeth Beddoe Littleton of Clanton, AL. Polly had six grandchildren. A viewing for family and friends will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 10th and Grove Streets, Delmar, DE, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
