Marjorie Joan Lofgren, 83, of Delmar, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born October 9, 1924 in Tenterden, England, a daughter of the late Richard and Minnie Milton. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Godfrey Lofgren, who passed July 29, 2007. Marjorie was a British war bride from World War II. She worked as a bus conductress for many years in England. All of her life, she was an avid animal lover. She attended Park Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salisbury. She is survived by a son, John Dana Lofgren and his wife, Christine, of Delmar; a daughter, Sandra Pauline Carroll and her husband, David, of Parsonsburg; 3 grandchildren, Heather Leigh Jackson, Kimberlie Shannon Bell and Renee Linn Larimore; 1 great grandson, Noah Sean Jackson; and a great granddaughter expected to be born in May, Gracie May Bell. Services will be private at the request of the family. Interment will be held in Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, Maryland.
