Marion H. Calloway, Jr., 91, of Salisbury died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Mr. Calloway was born on October 13, 1916 in Delmar, a son of the late Marion H. Calloway, Sr. and Susie A. Hastings Calloway. He proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. He retired as a supervisor for real estate assessments for the State of Maryland and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delmar. Mr. Calloway is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen W. Calloway; and a brother, William Calloway and his wife Anne of Delmar. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Barry Devine will officiate. Interment will be held in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
