Marie Wright Phillips Ruhl, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, died January 12, 2011, at age 91, due to complications related to Parkinson's Disease. She was the daughter of Charles Masters Wright and Blanche Maude Wilson of Mardela Springs, Maryland. She was predeceased by two husbands, Clarence E. T. Phillips, Jr. of Laurel, Delaware and William A. Ruhl of Salisbury, Maryland. She was a loving mother and wife who devoted her entire life to her family. She is survived by two daughters by her first marriage, Jane P. Rensi and Diane P. Blanton, their husbands Terence Rensi and Clay Blanton, and her grandchildren, Andrew Rensi, Leslie Rensi and Alexander Blanton. By her second marriage she is also survived by a daughter and son, Mary B. Ruhl and William Allen Ruhl, his wife Michelle Ruhl and her grandchildren, Tristan Ruhl and Patrick Ruhl. A family visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
