Mariane Baker Colyar age 76 Middletown/Kenton DE Daughter of the late Lewis and Kathryn Baker of Middletown DE and wife of the late Raymond Colyar of Philadelphia, mother of the late Sharon R. McCorkle. Mariane passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2007. Survived by son's: Terry & Kay Baker of Townsend DE, Raymond & Chris Colyar Jr of Townsend DE, Daughters: Kathryn Baker & Scott Demarest of Laurel DE, Kelly & Jim Penix Of Laurel DE, Michelle Eldreth of Elizabethton TN, Sisters: Dorothy & Travis Manning of Millington MD, Kathleen Langley (Tomlinson) of Newark DE and Brother George H & Franny Baker of Townsend DE and 18 grandchildren, Lewis, Jon, Tara, Michael, Loretta, Billy, Christina, Nicole, Sharon, Danielle, Joshua, Cody, Cory, Stacy, Wesley, Matthew, Amy, Katie and 3 great-grandchildren Kaylee, Tyler, Taylor plus one on the way. Mrs. Colyar was employed for 17 years by Bell Telephone Co. and worked and retired from The Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna, DE. She was an avid reader and loved gardening and raising flowers. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Mariane Colyar to: Shriners Nur Temple and Vietnam Vets of America Chapter 83. A private memorial service will be held for family and friends at: St Paul's United Methodist Church, 406 Main St., Odessa DE. at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2007.
