Margaret Dale "Doll" Tucker, cherished mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on September 22, 1948, Dale was a daughter of the late Ralph Everette Tucker and Margaret Mae Simmons Tucker. 

She lived a life full of strength, courage, and determination. A proud graduate of Gunning Bedford High School, she would go on to have a fulfilling career as a hairstylist, working at notable salons including White Minx in Newark. Throughout her life, Dale faced health challenges with remarkable resilience, traits that defined her as a confident and strong woman. She found joy in reading, engaging in friendly political debates, and playing online games of Mahjong, hobbies that brought her comfort even during difficult times. But above all, her heart belonged to her family. Dale was devoted to her daughter, Shannon P. Turley, and held a special bond with her grandson, Andrew Quinton Turley and wife, Brandi Elizabeth Turley, great grandson, Emmett Quinton Turley and sister, Karen Faye Eaton, proving that family was her greatest treasure.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Patrick Turley, and her former husband, Shaun Francis Turley.

Dale's spirit lives on in the memories of those who knew and loved her, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to St.Jude Children's Hospital.

A private vigil will be held in memory of Dale's enduring spirit and generous heart.
