Margaret June Messick, 89, of Delmar, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, after a brief stay at Bay Harbor Rehab Center in Salisbury. She was born July 6, 1935, a daughter of the late Raymond and Eleanor (Payne) Pryor. June graduated from Wicomico High School with the class of '53 and furthered her education at Philadelphia Bible College, graduating in 1956. June as she was known by all, is survived by her daughter, Robin (Jeff) Breasure and son, Bobby (Beth) Messick. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Clint Breasure (Jessica), Josh Messick and Jared Messick (Mallory), great grandson, Enoch. Her surviving sisters are Pat Pryor, Louise Gregory and Nancy Geary (Mike), and brother, Ray Pryor. She is preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Pryor. She is also survived by several nieces, their families and numerous dear friends from her life long membership at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. June is also survived by the father of her children and co-owner of Bryan & Brittingham, Robert Messick Sr. She served her church faithfully for many years as youth leader, teacher, church secretary and gracious host, influencing others with her strong unwavering faith in God. She leaves behind many precious memories for all those who crossed her path. In honoring June's wishes, there will be no formal services.
