Marcus Vess Carver, 78, of Pittsville, Maryland, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Short Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by military honors at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, Maryland
