DELMAR- Madeline Virginia Seabrease, 79, of Delmar, formerly of the Baltimore-Annapolis area, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born November 1, 1936 in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Peter and May (Wonder) Brannan. Mrs. Seabrease was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful homemaker. She loved to read and had a special interest in sci-fi books and movies. She also loved to take shopping trips with her grandchildren and play video games with them. She was a cat lover and will be sorely missed by her dog, "Girly". She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Paul B. Seabrease; a son, Robert "Bob" P. Seabrease of Delmar; daughters, Judy A. Marlett and husband, Paul of Conestoga, PA and Diane J. Tallman and husband, George of East Fallowfield, PA; grandchildren, Jonathan Marlett, Andrew Marlett (Renna), Eric Parmer (Traci), Patrick Marlett (Rebecca) and Colin Tallman and fiancé, Nicole; and great grandchildren, Veronica, Andrew and Tessa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Tallman and her brother, Albert Brannan. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home, Delmar.
