M. Louise Hearn, 80, of Delmar passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Delaware. She was born on October 4, 1937 in Delmar, a daughter of the late William and Mamie (Wilkins) Ellis. Mrs. Hearn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Throughout the years, she was very involved in her church, as God was the center of her life. She served as chaplain of Harvest Ministries in Delmar for ten years. She was a very creative person, and will be remembered for her quick wit and storytelling abilities. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard Hearn; a son Richard Hearn, Jr. and his wife Brenda of West Virginia; a daughter, Donna Haney of Delmar; grandchildren, Rachael Bogdan and her husband Roland, and Jarrod, Gage, and Brendan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randall Hearn; her siblings, Calvin, William, James, Mildred, Elizabeth, Marion, Beulah, and Pearl; and a son-in-law, Steven Haney. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
