Obituary

SALISBURY- Louise Marie Bergeron, 94, of Salisbury, died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. She was born April 24, 1921 in Laurel, Delaware, a daughter of the late Fred Brittingham and Helen (Gillis) Brittingham Brown. Louise cared for others her whole life and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the oldest living member of Zion United Methodist Church in Salisbury. She enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found working in her flowers or trimming her bushes. She will be forever remembered as a fantastic cook who made the best dumplings and fried chicken. She is survived by children, Sandra Tyndall and husband, Merrill, Beverly Ennis and husband, John, Dennis Bergeron, Gayle Dixon and Vicki Gladden; grandchildren, Donn Tyndall and wife, Jessica, Richard Ennis and wife, Tammy, Lisa Ennis Stafford and husband, Tom, Brian Gladden, Dawn Gladden, Derrick Dixon and wife, Jennifer, Darren Dixon and wife, Robin, Dustin Dixon and wife, Allison, Amy Tyndall Hudson and husband, Perry, Aaron Bergeron and wife, Allison and Kara Bergeron Johnson and husband, Ken; and great grandchildren, Mia and Zoe Tyndall, Ryan and Reagan Ennis, Trey, Tayt and Tanna Stafford, Jacob King, Dillon and Connor Dixon, Cody and Jackson Dixon, Miranda and Mason Hudson, Andrew, Austin, Lonnie and Damien Bergeron, Karis, Kenzi and Kenan Johnson, Q and Josh Mosher and Tony Bowen. She is also survived by a nephew, Randall Pryor and nieces, Helen Wilson, Pat Kondziola and Hazel Russell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Guy Bergeron, who passed in 2000; great grandchildren, Jacob and Daniel Dixon; a brother, Russell Brittingham; a sister, Anna Belle Bradford; and sons-in-law, Jack Dixon and Terry Gladden. A celebration of Louise's life will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Zion United Methodist Church in Salisbury, where family and friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00. The Reverend Dr. James Doran will officiate. Interment will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
