DELMAR- Lisa Lynn Boothe, 48, of Delmar, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, as a result of injuries from a tragic motorcycle accident. She was born January 15, 1966 in South Carolina, a daughter of Emma Lee (Lewis) Morris of Seaford and the late Charles Robert Timmons. Lisa worked for many years as a registered nurse at the Methodist Manor House in Seaford and Delmar Nursing Home. Most recently, she was employed by Bayada Home Healthcare out of Milford. Nursing was her passion and she will be remembered as an excellent and compassionate caregiver to those she helped through the years. She loved the outdoors and could often be found at the beach, she loved camping or working in her flowers and gardening and had a love for dragonflies. She had an ever growing collection of angels that she was proud of. She was an avid reader. Lisa had an unconditional love for her three daughters and her grandchildren, as her family was her world. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her 3 daughters, Heather Clarke (Roger), Holly Spencer (Donald) and Chelsey Boothe (Brad Edwards); 9 grandchildren, Deante, Dontae, Alayna, Isaiah, Camden, Troy, Caylynn, Natalee and Brenley; her former husband and father of her children, Clifford Boothe; and brothers, Charles Robert Timmons, Jr. and Danny Holston; a sister, Karen Holston; nieces and nephews, Dewey Callaway, Danielle Rementer, Danny Holston, II and Debbie Holston. She is also survived by a host of great friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00. Interment will follow services at New Hope Cemetery in Willards. Arrangements are being handled by Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
