Lester Lee Morris, 61, of Parsonsburg, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his home. He was born April 11, 1952 in Salisbury, a son of the late Clifford and Charlotte Morris. Lester was in the military for several years. First as a mechanic with the Air Force. Later Lester was with the Army Reserve. He continued his career after service as a well known mechanic. Lester was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Radio Kontrol Society (MARKS Club). The club was founded in 1957 by three members, one of which was his father. Lester was regarded as a top pilot and was a great teacher to others. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and especially his beloved dog "Jenna." He is survived by his wife, Penny Morris; a step-daughter, Shonna Windsor of Parsonsburg; a brother, Jeff Morris (Terry) of Fruitland; and a niece, Jackie Morris of Fruitland. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Wayne Holland will officiate.
