SALISBURY- Lavessa Jean Waryasz, 57, of Salisbury, died Friday, January 12, 2018 at the home of her family in Princess Anne. She was born October 2, 1960 in Salisbury, a daughter of Helen Avis Cousins Figgs Hearn (July 21, 2009) and Earl Edward (Bunky) Figgs (January 30, 2009). Hebron was her childhood home and she attended Mardela High School and Vo-Tech in Salisbury. She had a special place in her heart for her favorite cat, Molly, and enjoyed cross-stitching and finishing puzzles to make into pictures. She looked forward to her monthly trips to Golden Corral and Chuck E. Cheese's with her grandchildren. She is survived by children, Adam Lee Figgs, Maryjo Figgs (James Hitt), Helen Yvonne Figgs (William Webster), Larry Wayne Waryasz (Kelly Napier) and Heather Marie Figgs (Donte McGill); her grandchildren, Gaige Webster, Cayden Webster, Maddyson Wilson and William Wilson, Jr.; a great nephew, Trevor; great nieces, Makela and Tyleah; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by siblings, Nancy Romig, Allen Figgs (Denise) and Roy Figgs; half siblings, Barry Figgs, Nannie Figgs, Tiffany Fay Figgs, Dakota MeaWood Figgs and William Nathaniel Figgs; and a special family member, Betty Latourney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, who was a twin to Allen; a brother, Ray Figgs (2012); a sister-in-law, Trish Figgs (2016); and a brother-in-law, Perry Romig (2016). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Nelson United Methodist Church, 200 Main Street, Hebron, Maryland.
