Laura Mae Furry Elias Hudson, 90, of Delmar, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 10:00 p.m. at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delmar. Born Laura Mae Furry on July 13, 1920, in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, she was one of eight children and is survived by one sister, June Lenore Elias of Laurel, Delaware. She was married to George "Paul" Elias, Sr. (deceased); raised four children, "George" Paul Elias, Jr. (deceased), Barbara Ann Keith of Woodbury, Pennsylvania, John Robert Elias, Sr. of Salisbury, Maryland, and Charles Edward Elias, Sr. of Salisbury, Maryland; a step-daughter, Bonnie Lowe of Laurel, Delaware; and a stepson, Phil Hudson of Ocean City, Maryland. She was divorced from Paul Elias and remarried Harry Hudson of Delmar, Maryland (deceased). Mrs. Hudson will be missed by her children, stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
