Kimberly Lynn Palmer, 53, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, in the presence of her father and in the spirit of her loving family. She was born March 17, 1969, in Salisbury, a daughter of Vaughn Charles Cranfield and the late Shirley Austin Cranfield. Kim graduated from Wicomico High School with the class of '88. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim on April 12, 1997. Her career spanned over 32 years as a waitress and prep cook at the Jr. Board Auxiliary at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional. It is easy to sum up Kim's life in a few words- her faith and her family. As an active member of Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, quiet and reserved Kim was sure to let everyone know about Christ and where she stood with her Lord. She loved spending time with family, arts and crafts, handmaking doilies, reading and collecting teddy bears. She is survived by her loving husband, James Edward Palmer, Jr.; daughter, Brittany Marie Palmer of Salisbury; brother, Kevin C. Cranfield of Ocean City; sister, Karen Williams (Ruben) of Eden; niece, Kalena Williams; and nephew, Kyler Williams. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 27765 Nanticoke Rd, in Salisbury, followed by a funeral service which begins at 11:00. The Reverend Joel Beiler will officiate. Interment will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
