Kimberly Ann Ashcraft, 62, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a prolonged illness. She was born on October 13, 1958 In Chincoteague, Virginia, daughter of the late Robert Allan and Rachel Virginia (Pruitt) Truitt. Kim graduated from Parkside High School before earning her bachelor's degree in Education from UMES. She was a gifted seamstress and tailor, creating custom Wedding and Pageant Gowns early in her career. She also worked in Retail; most notably, Webster's Men's Wear and Joseph L. Banks. She was also an excellent Bartender and worked in various locations in and around Ocean City. She loved all animals, especially cats, and accepted the title of "crazy cat lady" with delight. She leaves behind her sister, Christine Ashcraft of Salisbury, and a nephew, Robert Martin of Salisbury.
