It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Brian Phelps of Salisbury, who departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on February 8, 1963, in Severn, Maryland, he was a son of Geraldine Paula Paige (Mark Thompson) and his late father Donald Louellen Phelps.

Keith grew up in Severn, Maryland before moving to the Eastern Shore a few years ago. He was a devoted husband to Luana Phelps, a loving stepfather to Jackie Dauses (Jay), and a brother to Donald Phelps and Sherri Litzenberger. He was also the proud step-grandfather to Justin Dauses.

Keith had a passion for life and found joy in simple pleasures. Whether spending time at home watching television, fishing, or crabbing, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm. An avid collector, Keith took great pride in his Star Trek and comic book collections. His fur babies were always close to his heart, and he was known for the unwavering love he had for them.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, providing family and friends an opportunity to gather, celebrate Keith's life, and share cherished memories. Details regarding the service will be announced soon.
