Katherine Humphrey Anderson Price, 59, of Seaford, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Katherine was born October 1, 1951, in Kinston, North Carolina, the daughter of the late William D. Humphrey and Mildred Joyce Shackelford Orth. She was a past member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Seaford. She and her husband had a booth at the Laurel Flea Market where they sold craft items. She is survived by her husband, Jack Walter Price of Seaford; two sons, Kevin Anderson of Dover, and Dale Anderson and his wife Dawn of Klamath Falls, Oregon; a step-daughter, Crystal Lee and her husband Robert of Salisbury, Maryland; four brothers, Wayne Humphrey and his wife Carol of Salisbury, Maryland, David Humphrey of Jessup, Maryland, Keith Humphrey of Salisbury, Maryland, and Bryan Humphrey and his wife Sandy of Aynor, South Carolina; six granddaughters, one grandson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A funeral service begins Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
