Justin Wayne Mitchell, 25, of Parsonsburg, formerly of Mardela Springs, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born in Salisbury November 4, 1983, a son of Phyllis H. Mitchell of Georgetown, Texas and Lloyd "Buddy" Russell Mitchell of Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughter, Cheyenne Madison Mitchell (6); son, Justin Wayne Mitchell, Jr. (4); sister, Victoria Lynn Mooers and her husband, Seth of Felton, Delaware; nephew, Colton; grandmother, Barbara Owens of Salisbury; half sister, Crystal Mitchell of Salisbury; aunt and uncle, Richard and Carole Vogt of Sanford, Florida; and cousins, Matthew, Zachary and Skylar. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne J. and Margaret "Peggy" Horsman. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30. The Reverend Howard Travers will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Mardela Memorial Cemetery.
