Salisbury- Junior Franklin Carmine, 71, of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Holly Center. Born June 16, 1937 in Seaford, Delaware, he was a son of the late Mary E. Carmine Jefferson and Paul Jefferson. Mr. Carmine is survived by four sisters, Ellie Paradee and her husband Tom of Berlin, Clara Hyle and her husband Bobby of Fruitland, Mary Parsons of Salisbury, and Ruth Boswell of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Ralph Jefferson of Salisbury; several nieces and nephews; and his extended family at the Holly Center and Dove Pointe in Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Slacum and a brother, Paul "Sonny" Jefferson. A memorial service will be held at the Holly Center Gymnasium, 926 Snow Hill Road in Salisbury on Wednesday, October 15,2008 at 1:30 p.m. In memory of Mr. Carmine, contributions may be sent to the Holly Community, Inc.
