DELMAR- Juanita Louise Wallace, 77, formerly of Delmar, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Seaford. She was born August 22, 1938 in Tilghman, Maryland, a daughter of the late Henry Morris Bozman and Eva Louise Bozman. Juanita grew up in Tilghman and graduated from St. Michaels High School with the class of 1956. In her younger days she wasa member of Tilghman United Methodist Church. After moving to Delmar she attended Laurel Church of the Nazarene, Seaford Church of the Nazarene, Seaford Wesleyan Church, St. Paul's United Methodist Church and God's Missionary Church in Delmar. Juanita worked as a receptionist at several banks and at the Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed working with her hands which included crocheting, sewing and cooking. She also loved the outdoors and could often be found working in her garden, doing yardwork or feeding the birds. She was especially fond of hummingbirds and loved to watch their family of hummingbirds feed in the back yard. She is remembered as a giving and caring mother, grandmother and sister. She made the world a better place by always trying to "pay it forward" and for many years gladly supported the soup kitchen at the Seaford Wesleyan Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Lee Timmons of Seaford; a grandson and his wife, Bradley and Megan Timmons of Harington; a great grandson, Ethan Bradley Timmons; a step-grandson, Lee Timmons, II of Florida; a step-great-grandson, Travis Japinowski of Milford; a sister, Meredith Handley of Denton; and a sister-in-law, Joan Bozman of Whitman, Maryland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and the family dog, "Lilah", who brought her much joy and comfort in her last days. Juanita's family would like to express their gratitude for the comfort and care provided by the staff of Seasons Hospice, and a special thanks to Lee's sister, Ina Short, for being such a blessing and helping take care of Juanita. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, Delaware.
