Juanita Catherine Linton, 82, of Millsboro, and formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was born August 31, 1934 in Hagerstown, a daughter of the late David Arthur Spessard and Vada Virginia (Lewis) Spessard. She spent most of her life in the Hagerstown area and worked several jobs throughout her lifetime. For many years she worked for Busy Broom Cleaning, a commercial cleaning company, a job she enjoyed and worked until her health no longer allowed it. She found joy playing Animal Crossing on Wii and was an avid Beanie Baby collector. She loved dogs and the family dog, "Beano" held a special place in her heart. She is survived by daughters, Debra Earnest of Hagerstown and Robin Crumlich and her companion, Paula Twigg, of Millsboro; grandchildren, Lodema Nave, Rodney Mowen and Rodger Bachtell, Jr; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Junior "Shine" Linton; a son, Rodger Lee Bachtell; and two brothers. Services will be held at a later date. In memory of Mrs. Linton, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home, Delmar.
