Joyce Ann Klaverweiden, 68, of Parsonsburg, entered into eternal rest and into the loving arms of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 25, 2012, following a lingering illness. Joyce was the youngest daughter of the late Wm. D. and Ida L. Williams. She is survived by her brother, Wm. E. (Buddy) Williams and wife, Pauline of Kingsport, Tennessee and a sister, Jean Lewis and husband, Bob of Salisbury. Another sister, Pauline Darby, died in 1995. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Paul, and their children, Randy and wife, Kay, Tammy Moore and husband, Don, Robert Klaverweiden, Sr., Paul Klaverweiden, Jr., and Robert Klaverweiden, Jr., all of Salisbury. She warmly considered Thelma Ardis and her family of Fruitland her "adopted family" as well. She will also be fondly remembered and missed by her six grandchildren and many great grandchildren that loved her dearly. In addition, she was adored by the family's pet pooch, Flex. Joyce was a member of the Pittsville Full Gospel Church in Pittsville for more than 25 years, where her husband pastored and delighted in doing the Lord's work. She had served Christ faithfully for over 40 years. May she rest in peace. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00. The Reverend Paul E. Klaverweiden, Sr, and Pastor Linda Lane will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
