Joyce Hall, 68, of Dover, DE passed away Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Heartland Hospice House in Wilmington, DE surrounded by her family. She was born on December 20, 1941 in Salisbury, MD, the daughter of the late, Lawrence S. Brinson and M. June Lambert. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her great love of nature was instilled in each of her children. She was devoted to her work at People's Place in Milford, where she always expressed compassion for her co-workers. She is survived by her daughter, Donna K. Kirsh of Baltimore, MD and her sons, Joshua Kirsh and his wife, Nicci, and their four children and Zachary Kirsh; her son, Buddy Hall and his partner, Bob McBride, of Bear, DE and their children, Joshua and Shianne Hall-McBride; and her son, Keith Hall and his wife, Jaimi, of Salisbury, MD, and their daughter, Sadie Hall. She is also survived by her fiance, Paul Duphily of Dover, DE; two brothers, Joe Brinson and his wife, Brenda of Eden, MD, and Shell Brinson and his wife, Carol of Salisbury, MD, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will also be missed by her special cat "Jazzi." A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 11:30 pm to 12:30 pm at the Short Funeral Home, 13 East Grove Street in Delmar. Followed by a 1:00 pm graveside service at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. The Reverend Howard Travers will officiate.
