Joyce A. Campbell, 81, of Newark, Maryland, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born on May 24, 1933 in Derby, Virginia, a daughter of the late Charley and Irene Adams. In her earlier years, she worked as a hairstylist and a real estate agent in Ocean City. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Florida where they enjoyed many years together. Recently, she moved back to Maryland to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Joyce will always be remembered for being the life of the party, and will be missed by all those who loved her. She is survived by four children, Rick Belcher and his wife Mary Lou of Millsboro, De, Rhonda Gregory and her husband Mike of Newark, Md, David Belcher and his wife Beverly of Churchton, Va, and John Allen Campbell; six grandchildren, Kimberly Beracierto, Jennifer Farlow, Marianne Bruce, Lisa Hess, Kevin Belcher and Michael Gregory; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Eddie Adams and his wife Yolanda of Bedford, Va; and a sister, Shirley Campbell and her husband Gil of Daytona Beach, Fl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Campbell. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. In memory of Mrs. Campbell, contributions may be sent to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
