LAUREL- Joyce A. Austin, 76, of Laurel, formerly of Seaford, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 2, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born July 31, 1943 in St. Michaels, Maryland. Joyce had many different jobs through her lifetime, but none as rewarding as being a mom and a homemaker. She loved finding bargains at flea markets, yard sales and thrift stores. She is survived by children, John William Morgan, Jr. and wife, Irene of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Lisa Morgan of Laurel and Melvin Morris and wife Sallie of Laurel; grandchildren, John W. Morgan, III, Krista, Velvet, Jessica, Johnathan, Daniel, Gracie and Madison; and a sister, Caroline Willey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Willey; and a sister, Emily Willey. Due to the current limitations placed on gatherings, a memorial service for Joyce's family and friends will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
