DELMAR- Joshua Ryan Webster, 28, of Delmar, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, December 22, 2016. He was born July 17, 1988 in Salisbury, a son of Debra Mae Johnson Webster and Michael Stewart Webster of Delmar. Josh graduated from Delmar High School with the class of 2006. After high school he took classes at Wor-Wic and Del Tech. For many years he employed by his grandfather who owns Hebron Woods Manufactured Homes Community. He assisted in operating and maintaining roads, pump stations, lighting, electrical problems and all mechanical emergencies as they arose. He was also proficient in heavy equipment operation. Josh will be remembered for his great sense of humor and was always the life of the party wherever he went. His family was dear to him and he always made time to make memories with his sister, brother and niece and nephews. He was an avid reader and a movie buff. He enjoyed spending time with his rescue dog, "Annie", and considered her an important part of his family. In addition to his parents, he was survived by a sister, Kelli Webster of Delmar; a brother, Cody Webster of Delmar; a niece, Peyton; nephews, Tyler, Gavin and Carter; grandparents, Glynn and Gladys Bridge of Salisbury; a cousin who was like a brother to him, Denny Murray; and a brother-in-law, Chris Powell. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Peggy and Carl Webster and William Johnson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where family and friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00. Interment will follow the services at Melson's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Wicomico County, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.
