Joseph Bruce Tingle, 71, of Delmar passed peacefully at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional on Sunday, August 27, 2023 surrounded by his family. Bruce was born on February 13, 1952 in Salisbury, a son of the late Paul R. Tingle, Sr. and Helen M. Tingle. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at their sporting events and going on vacation together. He also enjoyed spending time with his son, Joey catching crabs, looking at race cars, and traveling together. Bruce was a very likeable person who loved being in the company of others, he will be missed by all who knew him. Bruce is survived by his only son, Joseph "Joey" Bruce Tingle, Jr. and his wife Ashley of Fruitland; grandchildren, Joseph Jerome "JJ" or "Bunky" as he was lovingly known by his grandfather and Lillian "Lilly" Faith; brothers, Gregory D. Tingle and his wife Carol, and Dean W. Tingle both of Delmar; and a sister, Beatrice "Pete" Tingle Polansky and her husband Barry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, Paul R. Tingle, Jr.; and a sister, Janice L. Tingle Elliott. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. The family will have a private ceremony.
