HEBRON- Joseph Conley, known as Joe, was born and raised in Baltimore. Joe enlisted in the US Army in 1968 and served overseas from 1968-1970. He turned down an opportunity to attend Officers Candidate School and returned home and continued working. He worked a variety of jobs including General Motors and the Chessy Railroad System. He enjoyed reading, movies and tinkering with electronics. He loved trains and was happy to work for the railroad. Joe was close to his family and very proud of his nephew and great nieces and nephew. He was very charitable and supported children's causes such as St. Jude Medical Center in Memphis and many animal shelter programs. A service will be held at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
