John Henry Scalzo, 97, of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He is survived by a stepson, Earl Huntington; step-grandchildren, Carl ton Huntington, Jr. (Teresa), Raymond Huntington, Jay Huntington (Bobbie), Chris Huntington (Melissa), Lisa Huntington, Daniel Huntington, and Nancy Huntington; step-great grandchildren, Daniel and Veronica Carmean, EJ, Alivia, Sadie, Ashlynn and Abigail Huntington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Lord (William); his father, James Scalzo; second wife, Emma Scalzo; third wife, Nina Huntington Scalzo; three sisters; a stepson, Carlton Huntington (Delores Jean); and step daughter-in-law, Donna Huntington. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Pastor Chris Huntington will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
