John H. "Jack" English, Jr., 60, of Delmar, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He was born on December 19, 1953 in Trenton, New Jersey, the son of the late John Hugill English. Jack was a free spirit, he loved living life and spending time with his friends. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, boating, camping and watching NASCAR. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Jack was the owner of C. J. Trux in Seaford. He is survived by two sons, Christopher J. English (Linda) of Delmar, and Justin Thomas English of Arizona; grandchildren, Christalin English, Marty Smith, Jr., Jasmine Smith and Nikki Smith; a sister, Wanda Williams; and special friends, Lisa Robinson of Seaford, and David and Ronna Bender of Arizona. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
