Joanne Rhodes, 59, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on August 18, 1962 in Salisbury, Maryland, a daughter of the late Bill and Doris Tyndall. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl R. "Butch" Rhodes; son, Brian Rhodes and his wife Chelsea; grandchildren, Taylor Rhodes and Ethan Johnson; sisters, Jennie, Debbie, and Joyce; and a brother, Jimmy. JoJo enjoyed spending time at home with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved having talks with her granddaughter, Taylor every weekend. She was an avid Orioles fan, and loved the holidays, especially Christmas time. Jo was a staple at Delmar Pizza where she worked for over 20 years and loved her co-workers and customers. A special message from her husband, "Hey sweetie, you were by far the best part of me. I will miss you til it's my time. I will be waiting for you to come get me with open arms. Love you always, Your Hubby." A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Salisbury Baptist Temple, 6413 Hobbs Road in Salisbury. Pastor Carlo Leto will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
