Jimmy E. Wilson, 59, of Delmar passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy spent his career working in the flooring business. He was a talented musician and played the guitar in many local bands that featured classic rock music. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl Wilson; a son, James Wilson; a daughter Anastacia Keenan (Zackary); grandchildren, Kenneth Jester, Ariana Jester, Logan Jester, and Koa Keenan; mother and stepfather, Darlene and Ed Kohlhoff; sister, Tina Smiley (Tracy); stepsister, Patty Goslee (Jimmy); and nephews, Mark Smiley, Antonio Smiley, Tyler Tull, Travis Tull, Kenny Kohlhoff; and niece, Erika Kohlhoff. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Lee Wilson and stepbrother Kohly Kohlhoff. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 5:00 pm at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Delmar VFW following the service.
