DELMAR- Jessica Robin Webb, 19, of Delmar, died Monday, May 16, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, a daughter of Wanda Faye Webb of Delmar and Jesse M. Webb, Jr. of Rockport, Texas. Jessica was raised in the First Baptist Church of Delmar since the age of 5. In her younger days she was involved with the Girl Scouts. She recently began working as a server at the Olive Garden in Salisbury, where she took great pleasure working alongside of her mom. She truly loved the outdoors; catching catfish on a trot-line with her Dad and sister, camping, tubing in the mountains and crabbing. She also loved animals, especially horses, and enjoyed horseback riding lessons for a number of years. If Jessica could send a messgae to her family and friends she loved so dearly, it would contain smiles and rainbows. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Virginia Lee Webb of Delmar; a half sister, Cheryl Lynn Webb of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandparents, Wayne and Nita Bradley of Laurel, Delaware, Vera Mae Sullivan of San Antonio, Texas, and Jesse M. Webb, Sr. of Rockport, Texas; two uncles, Elbert Bradley and his wife Teresa of Laurel and Randy Bradley of United Arab Emirates; and her mother's companion, Rusty Adams and his sons, Zach & Cody, who were like brothers to Jessica. She was preceded in death by a half brother, Jesse M. Webb, III. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the First Baptist Church of Delmar on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 12:00 to 2:00, followed by a memorial service, which begins at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Lee Hughart will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
