Jennifer Paysse Rosen, 43, of Delmar, formerly of Laurel, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born November 24, 1968, in Austin, Texas, a daughter of Shirley B. Spagnolo of Delmar and the late Glennon H. Paysse, Jr. of Galveston, Tx. Jennifer graduated from Montor High School in Pittsburgh with the class of 1987. She earned her Master's degree in education and instruction from the University of Delaware. Her Bachelor of Science degree came from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She used her education to teach science at Laurel High School for 16 years. Her true passion was her family and children and she was always very supportive of their activities such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Little League. She will be missed and remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and daughter. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Freddie E. Rosen, Jr.; her two children, Cory Robert Rosen and Cara Marie Rosen; a sister, Laurie Werner (David) of Pittsburgh; 2 nieces, Lena and Lorna Werner; and her mother-in-law, Karen J. Rosen of Delmar. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Freddie E. Rosen, Sr.,of Delmar, and stepfather Stephen T. Spagnolo of Pittsburgh, Pa. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at ST. John's United Methodist Church, 312 E. Main Street, Fruitland, MD 21826, where family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00. The Reverend Paul Sherwood will officiate.
