We are sad to announce the passing of Jenna Nicole Phillips, age 17. She found her place in Heaven next to Jesus on Monday, December 12, 2022. Jenna was born on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, to Jeanne and Craig Phillips II. Her memory will be carried on by her sister Chelsy Phillips, her half-sister Amanda, half-brother Craig Phillips III, grandmother Barbara Phillips, grandfather Craig Phillips, and many more family and friends. Jenna was in her senior year at Washington High School in Princess Anne, Maryland. Her future plans were to attend to Wor-Wic Community College for Early Childhood Education due to her love for children. But God had bigger plans for her. She enjoyed being with family and friends dancing, singing, or just hanging out. She enjoyed going to get her nails done with her sister and shopping with her mom. She was the kind of person that left an imprint on everyone she met. She also enjoyed reading, animals, and long car rides listening to music. Other enjoyments for Jenna included fishing, traveling, watching movies with the family, going to family gatherings, and facetiming her cousins all night. Jenna is described by her family as compassionate, beautiful, smart, funny, and so much more. She was one of a kind and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, DE. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Pastor Joy Hill-Clendaniel and Pastor Herb Clendaniel will officiate. The family asks that everyone who would like to pay their respects wear colorful clothing in honor of Jenna's life and no black clothing. Interment will follow the service at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
