Obituary

SALISBURY- Jeffrey Alan Lemon, 31, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 as a result of injuries from a scooter accident. He was born December 15, 1982 in Salisbury, a son of Alan Dean Lemon and Joyce Ann Lemon of Salisbury. Jeff graduated from Wicomico High school with the class of 2000. He was a skilled machinist and worked for Mason Dixon Machine Shop for a number of years. He missed the machine shop work and desired to someday get back into that line of work. Most recently he was employed by Best Temps working on a clean-up crew. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing was a favorite hobby of his. He was a really good corn hole player and an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. To many who knew and loved Jeff, he was a true joy to be around. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three beautiful children, Jenna, Jeffrey and Tyler; two special cousins who were like sisters, Amy Stevenson and her son Elijah and Nicole Shell and her husband Ricky and their children, Ricky and Nicholas; and many close aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George and Lola Mae Lemon and maternal grandparents, Milford "Biddy" and Lena Mae Dorsey. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A funeral service will begin at 7:00. Pastor Greg Morris will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made by visiting www.gofundme.com and search "Jeff's Funeral Fund."
