Delmar- Jeffery M. Vickers, 50, of Delmar, died Saturday, August 7, 2010. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Charles R. Vickers, Sr., and Joyce Taylor Vickers. Jeffery was a product assembler for Walmart in Berlin. He is survived by a son, Michael Ray Vickers of Wilkesboro, North Carolina; a daughter, Nicolette Leigh Ann Vickers, of Marbury, MD; three brothers, Charles R. Vickers, Jr., and Harold W. Vickers, both of Delmar, and Ricky L. Vickers of Dagsboro; a sister, Vicky F. Scott of Salisbury; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas E. Phillips, Jr. There will be viewings for family and friends Thursday evening, August 12th, from 7:00 to 8:30 and on Friday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
