Jeffrey Lane Cason, 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Delmar on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Jeffery's legacy will be carried on by his loving spouse, Lynda Cason, who was not only his partner in life but also his teammate in countless adventures. They began their journey together on December 7, 1999, and in a beautiful testament to their love, they officially united in marriage on September 15, 2023. Jeff is also survived by his cherished daughters: Nicole Low-Beer (Brian), Samantha Cason, Ashley Cason, Krystal Crawley, Korin Whilden (Robert), and Katelyn Crawley (Jared Reif), 11 grandchildren, as well as his beloved parents, Jerry H. and Jacqueline (Wieczorek) Cason, and sister, Sue Koslosky (Ray). Jeff retired in 2020 after nearly 40 years in the railroad industry, having started his career with NJ Transit before finding a fulfilling role as a supervisor for Amtrak. His work ethic and dedication were qualities that inspired those around him. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Jeffery was an avid lover of golf and could be found at the pool hall shooting billiards or competing in friendly tournaments with Lynda through the American Pool Players Association. From his days in Little League to adult leagues, baseball and softball remained close to his heart. As a devoted fan of the New York Jets, he demonstrated unwavering loyalty through every season. Jeff had a passion for cooking and a zest for life that he shared with his beloved Lynda. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter and joy, always finding time to explore new places and enjoy each other's company. As we remember Jeff, let us carry forward his spirit of enthusiasm, love, and unwavering support for those he cherished most.
