LAUREL- Jason Scott Larson entered the Lord's embrace on July 17, 2018. He was born on December 12, 2002 in Salisbury, a son of Douglas and Hope (Messick) Larson. Jason attended Laurel High School and would have been entering his sophomore year this fall. He was an active covenant member of Laurel Wesleyan Church. Jason had a sweet soul and loved the Lord with all of his heart. He was a compassionate and sensitive young man and a wonderful friend to all. He loved to go for bike rides and just hanging out with his friends. He was becoming a talented artist, with aspirations of one day designing and/or working on cars. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile and sense of humor. He held a special place in his heart for his family and friends, especially his older brother Jacob and younger sister Holly. He is also survived by his Uncle Joe Messick (Angel); Aunt Denise Haglund (John); his grandparents, Joe and Phyllis Messick; and cousins, Brianna, Trey, Alyssa, Erika and Tory. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leone and Dennis Larson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Wesleyan Church, 30186 Seaford Rd, in Laurel, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pastor Scott Conn will officiate.
