Delmar - Janet Ruth (Yoder) Brunk, age 70, of Delmar, MD passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She was born March 31, 1954 in Salisbury, MD to the late David Daniel and Edith (Longacre) Yoder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendall Jay Brunk, with whom she shared 46 years. She was a member of the Salisbury Mennonite Church. She is survived by her children Regina Gascho (Eugene) of Resaca, Georgia, Nadine Amstutz (Leroy) of Hope, Indiana, James Brunk (Sandra) of Salisbury, Maryland, Suzanne Reinford (Brian) of Chaffee, New York, Rachelle Diaz (Reds) of Salisbury, Maryland, Darya Kraemer (Durrell) of Hammond, Illinois, and Daniel Brunk (Lisa) of Delmar, Delaware; and 30 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 7 siblings; Anita Knepp (Willie) of Lake Butler, Florida; Marlin Yoder (Esther) of Partridge, Kansas; Karen Good of Amelia, Virginia; Betty Gascho (Ron) of Granville Summit, Pennsylvania; Martha Rhodes (Ken) of Fairchild, Wisconsin; Judy Kurtz (Edwin) of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and Rachel Alexander of Princess Anne, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 408 Gordy Road, Salisbury, Maryland, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Salisbury Mennonite Church Cemetery.
