James M. Melvin, III, 47, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his home after an eight year battle with ALS. He was born on August 11, 1970 in Milford, the son of Patricia Murray of Milford and his late father James M. Melvin, Jr. Jamie graduated from Milford High School with the class of 1988. He worked for Baltimore Air Coil for over 20 years. He was an avid long distance cyclist, mountain biker and BMX racer. He was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and was a lover of Jeeps. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nicki Melvin; two daughters, Ally Melvin and Kate Melvin; sister, Sandy Melvin; nephew, Dylan Melvin; mother and father-in law, Bev and Ron Rhodes; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; special neighbors; and his Baltimore Air Coil family.
