Jacob Douglas Foxwell of Delmar passed away unexpectedly in Texas on April 5, 2023 at 22 years old. Jacob was born in Salisbury on May 10, 2000, and grew up in Delmar, Delaware. In 2018 he graduated Delmar High School and in 2022 graduated from Del-Tech as an Engineering Technician. He loved his job working at Process Integration Inc. in Princess Anne, MD as a Service Technician. Jacob will be remembered as having an old soul, who always cared about everyone around him, especially his brother Ethan. He loved music and telling a joke or two. Jacob loved hanging out with his friends: Francis, Gavin, Angelo, Brenna, Devin, Ryan, Tackoma, Ashley, Emily, Sam, Hailey, & Savannah. Most of all Jacob loved animals, especially his dog Milo. Jacob survived by his Mother Rachel Morcom, Dad and Stepmom Wesley & Shelley Foxwell, Brother Ethan Moore, Stepbrother Ethan Wilson, Grandparents: Pam & Sergio Ramos, Stephen Byrd, Nina & Yogi Ward, Kermit Foxwell, Marcia Palmer, Linda Powell, Jack Parsons and Nancy Brown, Aunts & Uncles: Caroline, Rob, Jackie, Chuckie, Lollie, Bree, Michele, Steve, Brittany, Zack, Stephen, William, Cara, Joshua, Jon, Justin, Sam, Jessy, Bambi, Brian, Howard and Carrie. Jacob had several cousins that he loved dearly, especially "Short Stack" Lily who was born only 10 weeks after him. Jacob and Lily were more like brother and sister and had a bond like no other. Jacob also cherished his Great Cousin Paisley (Pai Pie) and loved spending time with her and teaching her everything, especially cooking. Jacob was proceeded in death by his Grandfather Albert Morcom and Great-Grandfather Albert Brown. Services will be "come as you are" Jacob loved bright colors and being comfy (No Black). A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6 – 8pm and from 11 – 12 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, Delaware. A Celebration of Life will begin at 12pm on Tuesday. Interment will follow the service at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Hebron, Maryland.
