LAUREL- Hoyet A. Justice, 81, of Laurel, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, with his sons nearby. He was born on March 15, 1934 in Ocean View, a son of the late Clarence and Emma Justice. Hoyet proudly served his country in the US Army in the 101st Airborne during the Korean War. Through the years he worked various jobs but one of his favorites was working as a barber, a career that spanned over 35 years. One of his favorite pastimes was harness racing. He was a faithful member of Bayview Baptist Church in Laurel, where he was active in their senior group. Hoyet was a true family man who loved to help people and will be remembered as a hard-working man, always looking for something to do and always on the go. He is survived by two sons, Tim Justice and his wife, Billie Jo of Delmar and John Justice and his wife, Jennifer of Laurel; four grandchildren, Kelsie Justice, Raelyn Huffman, Rachel Justice and Andrew Justice; and three brothers, Homer Justice, his twin, and his wife, Pat of Laurel, Ches Justice of Laurel and Charles Justice and his wife, Helen of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Nellie A. Justice, who passed in 2013; three brothers, Edwin, Raymond and Roger Justice; and a sister, Laura Brittingham. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bayview Baptist Church in Laurel, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00. Pastors C.K. White and Ray Justice will officiate. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Laurel.
