Howard Norman Graham was born September 30, 1933 in New Jersey to the late Howard C. and Lurana Graham of New Jersey. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the age of 84, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Howard was educated in Trenton, New Jersey School for the Deaf. He was captain of the football team and basketball team. He worked as a master printer at Penns Grove Printing Company for 27 years. He leaves to cherish fond memories with his beloved wife of 55 years, Dixie Graham of Salisbury; and six children, Paul Collins of Salisbury, Cheryl Wilson and her husband Jimmy Wilson of Delmar, Elizabeth Graham of Bridgeville, Sandra Barbely and her husband Russell Barbely, Sr. of Newark, Guy Graham of Salisbury, and Maria Bateman and her husband Patrick Bateman, Sr. of Mardela Springs. In addition to his children he leaves 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a fellowship meal at 407 East Elizabeth Street, Delmar, MD 21875 following the Interment. The Graham family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to family and friends who have traveled to be with them during the illness and passing of their loved one.
